Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh was a Vietnamese Buddhist spiritual leader known as the “father of mindfulness.”

He founded the Plum Village tradition of Engaged Buddhism in southern France. 

Engaged Buddhism seeks to incorporate mindfulness into daily activities.
